I have two boys attending Ashby Primary School. One in Grade 3 and one in Grade 1. Our family really appreciate the Ashby community. We have been warmly welcomed by both parents and staff. We highly value the Ashby team and their efforts to provide the best learning journey for each child. I am passionate about positive learning environments for all students and am honoured to be part of the Ashby School Council.

My eldest daughter Charli is currently in Grade 1 at Ashby and will be followed by her three younger siblings eventually. As a local business owner  and committed proponent for natural health and sustainability in our community of Geelong West, I am honoured to serve on the school council and contribute in any way that I can. I believe that all humans thrive when surrounded by a strong and supportive community, and since we begin that journey as a child I am greatly appreciative of the beautiful community that Ashby PS has already established for my family to become a part of.

My son Kenneth is in Grade 1 and Emma will be starting Prep in 2021. We have recently relocated from NSW to Geelong. I am a HR/OHS practitioner who has previously worked in the Education and Social Assistance Sectors and hope I can share my skills and experience to assist and make a difference. I am so excited about the opportunity to positively contribute to the school and the school community by becoming a member of the School Council.
