School Banking

Ashby Primary School is excited to offer the Commonwealth Bank School Banking program to all students.

FAQ's link here (including where is my reward Answers)

The School Banking program provides children with an opportunity to make deposits into their personal Commonwealth Bank Youthsaver account at school each week.   MONDAY is your banking day at Ashby.  The program is about how often your child makes deposits, not how much they deposit.

To encourage regular savings behaviour the program offers an exciting Rewards Program. Every deposit earns your child a Dollarmites token, and once they’ve collected 10 tokens they can redeem them for a reward.

2016 reward items

These fun rewards are a great way to keep children motivated and demonstrate the value of saving:

  • Flying Snake Tail – now available to order

  • Wildlife Writer Set – now available to order

  • Mud Splat Handball – Released in Term 2

  • Outback Pat Bag Tag – Released in Term 2

  • Backtrack Eraser Pen – Released in Term 3

  • Jump and Skip Rope – Released in Term 3

  • Bush Fly Fan – Released in Term 4

  • Wriggly Glow Worm – Released in Term 4

School Banking day is MONDAY.   Each week you need to make certain your bank wallet is taken to the office

Kindly supported and co-ordinated by the Friends of Ashby.

For every deposit made at school, no matter how big or small, students will receive a cool Dollarmites token. Once students have individually collected 10 tokens they can redeem them for these exclusive School Banking reward items in recognition of their continued savings behaviour. There are 2 new items to come in Term 2 as well!

Remember our school earns 5% commission on every deposit made (to a maximum of $10 per individual deposit).

If your children are not currently involved in the School Banking program and you would like to know more, please ask for a 2015 School Banking program Information Pack from the School office.

Thank you for supporting our school and helping to teach your child the benefits of saving regularly.

Don’t forget that MONDAY is School Banking day!
